UK Skilled Immigration

Tier 4 is a points based immigration system designed to allow people to live and work in the UK for -- in most cases -- a maximum of one year. It covers schemes such as Working Holiday arrangements with other countries, as well as certain sports and creative activities.

People coming under Tier 4 require sponsorship by an employer or other organisation (such as a church or volunteer group), similar to foreign workers in the UK under Tier 2.
